Operating Policies

First Appointment: If this is your first appointment, this will serve as your introductory inspection. This is when we come to your location and inspect your vehicle. If the level of work needed on your vehicle exceeds the amount you originally thought you were going to spend or the time available we can reschedule.

Deposits: A deposit is due at the time of booking. This deposit can be paid via e-mailed invoice or over the phone. This is to hold your appointment window and to prevent over-booking so that your service is not rushed. This deposit will be applied towards the total balance of your detail.  Your deposit will be transferred to the next appointment if you need to reschedule due to time needed exceeding the original booking time block. (At the discretion of Total Detailing) If you decide elect not to use Total Detailing after a price adjustment, your deposit will be refunded. 

Personal Items: Please remove all the personal items from the vehicle prior to your detail. If you leave personal items in pockets, consoles and trays, those areas will not be serviced without explicit written permission from the vehicle owner.

Water/Power: Total Detailing comes to your location, complete with our own water and power source but we may ask you for access to your power if you live in a neighborhood or there are offices near by. This is so that we can keep the noise level down and help to keep this a quiet and professional service. We may also ask you for access to your water as well. You will receive a bill credit if Total Detailing uses either. 

Additional Fees: Please note, pet hair, excessive staining, odor removal, bio cleanup, excessive dirt will absolutely incur an extra charge. If your vehicle is “hammered”, please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

Cancellations/Appointment Changes: Cancellations and Appointment changes must be done before 24 hours of the appointment. If you cancel or need to change your appointment, you will be charged a cancellation fee and will forfeit your deposit. (Total Detailing may choose to waive this fee, at its sole discretion)

Aftermarket Accessories: Total Detailing will not be held responsible for damage to poorly installed aftermarket accessories.
