What you are buying
Four things it does.

It is sprayed, not cut
No seam across the hood and no line at the panel gaps
The car does not look like it has film on it. Nobody sees a border on your hood in the sun, because there is not one.

It bonds without adhesive
Nothing glued to your clearcoat, so nothing bakes on
Years later it peels off in sheets. It does not fight you, it does not leave residue, and it does not pull paint on the way out.

8 to 12 mil thick, and self healing
Light marring closes up, deeper marks sand and buff back
Swirls from washing and grit from the road land on a layer that is not your paint, and that layer is the one that gets repaired.

It cures into a clear coat
Wet sanded and polished exactly like fresh clear
It reads as depth in the paint. On a new car that is the whole point, because you are trying to keep what you just paid for.

You should not be able to tell.

What does paint protection cost?
It depends on coverage, how much correction the paint needs first, and how complex the panels are. A front end sits well below a full car. Our pricing is published so you can see the range before you call.
I just picked the car up. Is that too soon?
It is the best time. There is nothing to correct yet, so you are paying for protection instead of paying to fix damage first. A car that comes to us at 200 miles is a shorter job than the same car at 20,000.
Does the dealer coating do the same thing?
No. A coating is measured in microns and it makes the car easier to clean and hold gloss. This is 8 to 12 mil of clear film that physically takes an impact. They solve different problems and plenty of cars get both.
How far are you from Malvern?
About 22 miles northwest, roughly 35 minutes. We are at 449 B Old Reading Pike, Stowe, PA 19464. The car stays with us a few days, so it is one trip.
Do you cover Paoli, Frazer and Devon?
Yes. That whole Route 30 corridor is the same trip and those cars come through regularly.
