88–94% infrared heat rejection. Zero cell-signal interference. Lifetime warranty. We've worked with every tier of film on the market and IR Nano is the one we'd put on our own cars. So it's the one we install.

01THE CHEAP STUFF
● WHY WE PASS
Dyed and metallized films
The cheap end of the market is dyed film. A layer of dye between adhesive and a top coat. Blocks some visible light, almost none of the heat, and turns purple in about a year. The mid-tier is metallized. Better color life, but the metal interferes with cell signal, GPS, tire-pressure sensors, and radar cruise. On a modern car full of antennas, it's a daily problem. Neither is something we'd put on our own vehicle.

02WHAT WE INSTALL
● IR NANO
IR Nano
Nano-ceramic particles reject 88–94% of infrared heat directly. Highest IR rejection in the category. No dye to fade. No metal to interfere with electronics. Lifetime warranty. It's the film we'd put on our own cars, so it's the one we install.

03ABOVE IR NANO
● NOT WORTH IT
Premium films
There are films above IR Nano on price. Some are good. Honestly, we don't think the bump in performance justifies the bump in cost for most drivers. IR Nano gets you 88–94% IR rejection, full UV block, and a lifetime warranty. Spending double for a couple more points of heat rejection is a hard sell, and we won't make it.

Tint Pricing
Pricing is straightforward.
Flat pricing by vehicle size. IR Nano film, professional install, lifetime warranty. Available in 15%, 25%, 35%, 55%, and 75% shades.
We walked the whole tint market before picking. Here's the work behind that choice.
● THE MARKET
We walked the whole market and picked one film
Most shops carry three or four tiers of tint so there's something for every budget. We went a different way. We looked at the market, picked the film we'd put on our own cars, and stock that one. Here's the work behind it.
The cheap tier, dyed film. We passed. It's dye between adhesive and a top coat. It blocks some light, almost no heat, and goes purple in about a year.
The middle tier, metallized film. We passed. It holds its color better than dyed, but the metal layer fights your car's electronics. Cell signal, GPS, tire-pressure sensors, radar cruise. On a car full of antennas that's a daily annoyance.
What we install, IR Nano. Ceramic particles instead of dye or metal. 88 to 94 percent infrared rejection, 99 percent UV blocked, nothing metallic to interfere with anything, and a lifetime warranty.
Above it, the premium tier. We passed on that too. There are pricier films and some are genuinely good. For most drivers you're paying roughly double for a couple more points of heat rejection. We won't make that sell. If your situation actually calls for it, we'll tell you that too.
● WHAT YOU GET
What changes after it's on
Four things you'll actually notice, and one you won't but should.
The heat stays outside. Your A/C stops working overtime. The seats don't brand your back in August. The dash doesn't crack in year four.
Your skin is protected. The UV coming through a side window is the same UV that ages skin. 99 percent of it blocked, on every window, every day. Think of it as sunscreen you install once.
Your interior stops fading. That same UV is what turns a black dash grey and cracks leather.
Glare drops. Low winter sun and headlights at night both get easier on your eyes.
Nothing on your car acts up. That's the one you won't notice, and it's the whole reason we don't touch metallized film.
● THE INSTALL
Where tint jobs go wrong
Tint is a clean-room job with steady hands, same as everything else we do. The film matters, and then the install decides whether you got what you paid for.
Specks under the film are forever. Dust and contamination sealed under tint can't be cleaned out later. The only fix is pulling the film and starting over.
Gaps and light lines at the edges. A rushed cut leaves a sliver of untinted glass along the edge. You'll see it every time you look at the car.
Peeling at the dot matrix. That band of black dots along the top of the rear glass is textured, and film doesn't want to stick to it. It takes technique.
A warranty that's just a word. A lifetime film warranty is worth what the shop behind it is worth. Same arithmetic as every other service we sell.
Frequently asked questions.
What does ceramic tint actually do that cheap tint doesn't?
It stops heat. Cheap dyed film blocks some visible light and almost no heat, so the car still bakes. IR Nano has ceramic particles in the film that reject 88 to 94 percent of infrared, which is the part of sunlight that turns a parked car into an oven. Both films look dark from the outside. Only one of them changes what it feels like to get in the car.
Why don't you offer cheaper tint?
We wouldn't put dyed or metallized film on our own cars, so we don't put it on yours. Stocking a tier we wouldn't use ourselves isn't giving you options. It's a sales tactic.
Why is yours more than the cheap tint place?
Different product doing a different job. Dyed film blocks some light, almost no heat, and turns purple. You're not paying more for the same thing. You're paying once instead of twice.
Will it mess with my phone signal or my sensors?
No. That problem comes from metallized film, which has a thin metal layer that interferes with cell signal, GPS, tire-pressure sensors, and radar cruise. IR Nano is ceramic and has no metal in it. Everything on a modern car keeps working normally.
Why does cheap tint turn purple?
Dyed film is a layer of dye between the adhesive and a top coat. UV breaks that dye down, and purple is what's left. It isn't bad luck or a bad batch. It's what dye does in sunlight. The gap between cheap film and ceramic film is the gap between re-tinting in two years and never thinking about it again.
How dark can I legally go?
Pennsylvania limits how dark your windows can be, and the rules are strictest up front. We install to the legal spec and we'll tell you exactly where the line is before you pick a shade, so you're not the one explaining it at a traffic stop.
What shades do you offer?
15, 25, 35, 55, and 75 percent. We'll walk you through them in person and let you see each one against your own car before we cut any film.
Will tint make my car cold when it's parked?
No, and we won't promise that. It's the difference between brutal and comfortable, and between your A/C catching up in about a minute instead of ten. Nothing stops a car in an August parking lot from getting warm. This keeps most of the heat outside instead of trapping it in.
How long does it last?
The film carries a lifetime warranty. No fading, no bubbling, no turning purple, no losing its UV block. The tint you put on today is the tint you'll still have when you sell the car.
How long does the install take?
Most cars are a same-day job. Complicated installs and panoramic roofs sometimes go overnight. We don't rush it and we don't hand the car back until the film has fully set.
Do you remove old tint?
Yes, priced separately based on what shape it's in. Old dyed film that's been baking for years is much harder to get off than modern film, so we'll look at it and quote the removal alongside the new install.
