Chips on the nose, dull rockers, swirls in the sun. Come up 23 and we will walk your paint with you in good light and tell you what it actually needs. That part costs nothing.

Whatever is sitting on your paint gets sealed under whatever goes over it. So swirls and marring come out first. On a newer car this is short. It is almost never nothing, and skipping it is how a good finish gets locked under a good coating.

The car gets masked the way a body shop masks a repaint. Every edge, every gap, every piece of trim. This is the slow part and it is the part that decides whether the finished job looks factory or looks sprayed.

A clear film goes on in even coats, 8 to 12 mil, in a downdraft paint booth. Not cut from a roll. No seam across the hood, no adhesive on your clearcoat, and it peels off clean years later with the factory paint intact.

The car stays with us a few days. Correction, masking, spraying, curing, wet sanding and polishing each take real time, and there is no version of this that happens in an afternoon.
Twenty minutes away means that is one short trip out and one short trip back, not a day built around a shop. That is the whole advantage of using somebody close for work that is not quick.
