Paint Protection · West Chester, PA

    Protect the paint.
    Protect the resale.

Chips cost money twice. Once when they happen, and again when an inspector or a buyer prices them. A clear film over your paint takes the damage instead, then peels off when you are done with the car.

    How it holds value

    Feature, advantage,
    and what it is worth.

    01● THE FEATURE

    Sprayed, not cut

It goes on as a liquid in a downdraft paint booth and cures into one continuous clear film, 8 to 12 mil thick, over your existing paint.
    02● THE ADVANTAGE
    Reversible

    No edges, no adhesive

Sheet film is cut per panel, so it ends in an edge that collects grime and lifts, and it sticks with glue that bakes onto your clearcoat. Neither of those exists here.
    03● THE BENEFIT

    Original paint at handback

Damage lands on the layer. When you sell or return the car, the layer peels off in sheets and the paint underneath is factory, in the condition you bought it.

The part people underestimate is what happens before anything goes on. Whatever is sitting on the paint gets sealed under the film, so correction comes first. On a nearly new car that is short. It is almost never nothing.

Plan on the car being with us a few days. Correction, masking, spraying, curing, wet sanding and polishing each take real time, and a shop that promises a full job in an afternoon is skipping one of them.

    Frequently asked questions.

    What does paint protection cost?

It depends on coverage, how much correction the paint needs first, and how complex the panels are. A front end sits well below a full car. Our pricing is published so you can see the range before you call.

Does this help at lease return?

That is one of the better reasons to do it. Lease inspectors price chips and scratches per panel. A protective layer takes those hits instead of the paint, and it comes off before you hand the car back if you want it gone.

Will a buyer be able to tell?

Once it is cured, sanded and polished it reads as depth in the finish rather than as a layer on top. And when it comes off, what is underneath is factory paint in the condition you bought it, which is exactly what a buyer with a paint gauge is hoping to find.

How far is the shop from West Chester?

About 25 miles north, roughly 35 minutes up 100. We are at 449 B Old Reading Pike, Stowe, PA 19464. The car stays with us a few days, so it is one trip.

Can I do just the front end?

Yes, and it is the most common place to start. The front takes most of the damage. We walk the car with you and tell you where the money actually goes rather than pushing straight to full coverage.

Do you cover Exton, Malvern and Downingtown?

Yes. Chester County cars are a regular part of the week.
