THE PROCESS

This customer brought us his newer Jaguar. He had gotten his calipers and wheels painted. Apparently, the shop that painted the calipers didn’t bother to tape off the rest of the vehicle, resulting in the entire vehicle being covered in bright orange overspray. In addition, there were some pretty serious hard water etching on the vehicle as well.

Paint Ceramic Coating

It was pretty hot and steamy when we got the car, so we decided we would go rinseless indoors, so we didn’t risk water spotting and soap drying. Here are the steps we followed:

APC Spray Down to Remove old waxes & Sealants & whatever fake dealer spray was installed.
ONR Rinseless Wash (Loaded with Polymers, no scratching!)
Chemical Decontamination with Iron Remover & Tar Remover
Mechanical Decontamination with a Gyeon Q²M Clay
2 Step Paint Correction Compound & Polish on Vehicle with Sonax Perfect Finish & Sonax CutMax
Degrease Vehicle with Auto Surface Protection STRIKE Surface Degreaser & Prep Spray.
Application of Ceramic Pro Silver Package which is 4 layers of ceramic coating on the vehicle.

DECONTAMINATION

The entire vehicle was covered in air gun overspray from a careless automotive paint shop. The entire vehicle was covered in orange overspray. We used 2 whole 200G clay bars getting the surface free of all of the overspray.
