The Graphene Coating Process

Total Detailing will help you select the best graphene coating service for your needs. We base that selection off of the type of vehicle you have, the amount of driving you do, how you plan to care for that vehicle, and the goals you hope to achieve with a ceramic coating. We can even show you a test section on your vehicle so you can see a major difference.

Your vehicle will be washed by hand and cleaned thoroughly with our proven professional process.

After the wash is complete your vehicle will be completely decontaminated both mechanically and chemically.

For all Paint Enhancements, One-Step & Multi-Step Paint Corrections – industry-specific machines, equipment, compounds, and polishes will be used to prepare the surface of your vehicle for the application of the graphene coating. Depending on the level of service your vehicle needs, this can take hours or several days to complete.

After the correction stage is complete, the vehicle is completely wiped clean, removing all compounds and polishes from the surface, ensuring the vehicle is clean.

Depending on your service level, your vehicle may need to remain indoors and dry for several days for the coating to fully cure. Most graphene coating services are performed in 2 to 4 days.

How to care for your Graphene Coated Vehicle

  • Do not wash your car with the use of any chemicals for 14 days from the coating application.
  • Only washing using a pH neutral soap, like Total Detailing DRIFT Ceramic Coating Safe Soap.
  • Do not use automatic touch or touchless car washes. Hand wash only.
  • Do not let contaminants like bird droppings remain on any surface. You should remove them as soon as possible.
  • Do not expose to acid, caustic chemicals, and any other contaminants that you are aware of.
  • Follow the You Drive = You Care principal. Each Car is subject to a unique life. The harsher the life, the more maintenance it requires.
  • If any damage occurs, Contact your certified detailer, do not try to fix it on your own.
  • Always wash your car once it is cool and out of direct sunlight, never when the car is hot.
  • Wash your vehicle every 1,000KMS, 650 Miles, or every 2 weeks.
