I attended the intro to PPF seminar at Total Detailing. I walked into this class blind never touched PPF a day in my life. Gabe and Justin taught me more then I thought I could learn in these 2 days. By the end of the training I was able to install partial hoods, fenders and bulk install a hood by myself. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking to get their feet wet in the PPF industry. Our 3-Day Intro to Paint Protection Film Training Event will provide you with the knowledge you can take back to your shop and put into use immediately. The goal of this training to give you a solid foundation to build on. THIS IS NOT A FILM MANUFACTURER CERTIFICATION CLASS and you WILL STILL BE LEARNING AND GROWING AFTER THIS SESSION.

3-Day Intro to Paint Protection Film Training
- How to set up and use a plotter (how to avoid costly mistakes)
- How to weed paint protection film & stage your work space
- Introduction to Paint Protection Film Installation (Hood, Fenders, Bumpers, Mirror Caps)
- Understanding the use of slip & tack solution & their ratios
- GEL – When to use it
- Proper use of a heat gun
- Sealing Edges
- Preventing Common Installation Mistakes
- Introduction to “reading” the film – understanding when and where to stretch
- Quality Control – What can you ship and what you cannot
- Efficiency in Processes & Automation in your shop
- Marketing Techniques for PPF Shops (Video, images, social media structuring, targeting the client that wants your service)

What should I expect from a training session?
You’ll be training in our state-of-the-art detailing facility. Temperature controlled, LED lighting, and indoor washing so you don’t have to worry about working outside.
You’ll be learning techniques and processes that are at the front of innovation in paint protection film. Gone are the days of working yourself to death. Learn how to get things done correctly and quickly.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders
You’ll leave our training classes with real-world, hands-on experience that you can put into action immediately – we are going to show you the exact methods we use in our top-tier, highly rated facility every day.
We have plenty of hotel accommodations nearby and are 15 minutes from the Philadelphia Shopping Outlets – You can do more than just train.
On-site Training & Business Consulting
We can bring our training program to you where ever you are in the United States. You can be trained on your own production cars so that you can cover the cost of your training program while also learning in your environment. Our training events also include various levels of business consulting.
Rates: 2 trainers typically @ $1500/day + travel costs (flight, hotel, car) – Most introductory classes are recommended to be a minimum of 2 days. If you need us to provide paint protection film, we can have it shipped to your facility prior to the date you choose at an additional cost (b-roll OR production film)
